    You may notice the new banner provided by Milblogging.com and GX magazine. I took 3rd place for “Best Iraq Frontlines” milblog of the year, and 5th in the “US Army” category.


    Obviously, I don’t write this blog to win contests. I write it to give you an idea of what it’s like over here, at least from one perspective. Nevertheless, it does seem like the blog is “taking off” a bit, and I appreciate the votes and the constant support.

    Congratulations Lt. K. I am sorry for your loss. I offer my sincerest condolances to all of you for your loss and to the families of the fallen soldier.

    These people are such cowards.
