You may notice the new banner provided by Milblogging.com and GX magazine. I took 3rd place for “Best Iraq Frontlines” milblog of the year, and 5th in the “US Army” category.

Obviously, I don’t write this blog to win contests. I write it to give you an idea of what it’s like over here, at least from one perspective. Nevertheless, it does seem like the blog is “taking off” a bit, and I appreciate the votes and the constant support.

Take care of yourselves, and stay tuned…

"Many Happy Moons", Dang, I haven't heard that expression in "many a moon".

    Take care yourself, and,

    Continue the Mission.

Congrats on your win whether you tried for it or not! You're a terrific writer and deserve to be recognized. It also probably makes JP proud every time he reads your blog and sees that banner:)

Congratulations Lt. K. I am sorry for your loss. I offer my sincerest condolances to all of you for your loss and to the families of the fallen soldier.

    These people are such cowards.
