Save the Soldiers Blog Contest

posted Thursday, 27 April 2006
There is a new website called Save the Soldiers, and I think their focus is on showcasing soldiers without the mass media’s involvement. You can click here to read their “mission statement.”

Some kind reader has nominated me for “Best Soldier Blog,” and voting will take place between May 1st and May 5th.

I don’t write this blog to win contests, but it is always nice to be noticed. If you have the time or the inclination, I would sure appreciate your support.

You can click here for more information about the contest.

As always, thanks for reading -

Lieutenant K

When I first found your blog back in January, I noted not just the excellent writing but the overall professionalism and quality. Perhaps this is what brought about the recent nomination. These are incredibly important characteristics when a competition is filled with professional and very honorable entries. Good luck.
